Company Rebrand

Brief:

The overall goal behind this assignment was to pick a small, existing company and re-brand it so it was up to date. I was to come up with a new name, create a new logo, create a completely new set of brand guidelines, and create a series of mockups that all feel cohesive as well as complete.

Ideation:

For my design approach, I chose a local burger shop in Des Moines called Zombie Burger. The thing that makes Zombie Burger so special is its environment that surrounds you while you eat as well as its interesting burgers. The environment around you makes you feel as if you have emerged into a zombie-themed world. However, one thing that I wanted to change with this company was that I wanted it to be fit for all ages and not seem so childlike.

Challenges and solutions:

The goal of this company rebrand was to create something more up-to-date that is also visually appealing and will help assist with the growth of the company. The new brand guidelines for this company consist of a new logo (word and combination) in black & white and in color. I wanted this restaurant to appear as a nicer and higher-end restaurant/fast restaurant while also maintaining that fun undead-like aspect to it. While doing this I also wanted to keep things simple and not get too crazy with the logo and overall design.
