Des Moines Travel Guide Infographic

Brief:

For this project, we were assigned to make a book on a topic of our choice and to create at least ten infographics/data visualizations. I chose to make a travel guide for the city of Des Moines. This project required all the basic contents that a book normally has like a title page, front matter, table of contents, and other back matter. However, it was our choice as to which type of front and back matter we wanted to use in our book. Our book was to be visually appealing while also conveying the necessary information in a clear and appropriate way.

Challenges and solutions:

This project challenged me to present information about Des Moines in a positive way that is also unique and visually appealing. It also challenged me to create an interactive and engaging experience that allows the reader to enjoy the pictures and visual data that go along with them.
